ইংরেজী শেখার ABC চ্যাপ্টার (lesson 7) গত লেসনে বলেছিলাম, পরবর্তী লেসনে শিখবো, কীভাবে present indefinite tense এ Verb এর শেষে s/es যোগ করতে হয়। Present indefinite tense structure 2: subject + main verb + object. Rules for structure 2 মনে রাখতে হবে: subject যদি third person singular হয়। তাহলে verb এর শেষে s/es যোগ হয়। Rule 1: যে সব Verb এর শেষের অক্ষরটি O, ss, sh, ch (ch এর উচ্চারণ যদি 'চ' এর মত হয়) x অথবা z থাকে, তাহলে সেই সব Verb এর শেষে es যোগ করতে হয়, অন্যথায় শুধুমাত্র s যোগ করতে হবে। যেমন- Go - Goes, Do - Does, Brush - Brushes, Fix - Fixes ইত্যাদি। Rules 2: যেসব Verb এর শেষের অক্ষরটি y থাকে এবং y এর পূর্বের অক্ষরটি যদি Consonant হয় তাহলে y এর পরিবর্তে i হয় এবং শেষে es যোগ করতে হবে। যেমন- cry- cries, try - tries ইত্যাদি। Rules 2: y এর পূর্বের অক্ষরটি যদি Vowel থাকে তাহলে শুধুমাত্র s যোগ করতে হবে। যেমন- play - plays, pay - pays প্রভৃতি।  Example: 1: He goes to school five days in a waek. সে সাপ্তাহে পাঁচদিন স্কুলে যায় । 2: Our writer ...

Spoken Rules (1 to 5 Part-1) Spoken Rule-1   ★ As well as ★ (সেইসাথে) বুঝাতে "as well as" ব্যবহৃত হয়। Structure: Subject + verb + as well as + Extention.
